Photoshop fun

Played around a bit with Photoshop... SO COOL! Learning more about my camera and photographs in January here. I can't wait!!

For now, here are two pictures from the honeymoon that I tweeked a bit.

View from the back porch. Gorgeous view, handsome (but a little darker than usual) man.

Much better man! I greened up the trees/bushes maybe a BIT too much. Still I'm glad in the printed picture you can see the hubs much better.

When we printed this pic, this super happy honeymooning couple was too dark. You can't hardly see our faces.

So we lightened her up and kept the awesome sun glare. (Which by the way happened by accident.)

I can't wait to learn so much more in January! Stay tuned.

Cubby cheeks

Doesn't get much better than that, does it?

First time visit with a precious baby girl - Emery. Found this picture again and I can't get enought of those baby cheeks and her little lips.

Addalee's baptism

Babies. SOOO precious. Especially little Addalee. She's just so darn cute with the greatest cheeks and most beautiful eyelashes.

People even stop her mother when they're out to comment on how gorgeous she is. I know, heart breaker in the making...

When Jenny (mom of Most Beautiful) sent out the mass email about her baptism, we quickly replied. I mean seriously! Where else would we be except the second pew at church for her baptism??

{Shocking that we live 10 minutes away and were STILL late to church. I told the usher we were there for the baptism so he proceeded to walk Chris and up to the second row.

Did I mention everyone had already sat down?? Yep. All eyes were directly on us.

Can you hear the crickets?

Or the *click click* of my heels?

We tried to be graceful about it and jump in the row, but Dee-Daddy couldn't move fast enough. In our attempt to be out of the spotlight as fast as possible, hoping no one notices the two super late people, I definitely sat on Dee's leg and Chris almost didn't make it into the pew.

Did I mention that Chris had to sit on the inside and me on the outside because he was wearing black pants and shoes with NO socks??? My grandmother would be shocked. That also means we caused more commotion by switching places so no one would notice the fashion statement the hubs was making.}

On to the Most Beautiful. She did so great sitting through church! Of course she had no idea that her parents were about to publicly promise they would raise her for the Lord. Great, huh? Gah, the world needs more of these parents!

Check out our little thumb sucker! I love that the pastor holds all the babies up for the crowds to see.

Jenny and Johnny hosted lunch for anyone who came to see Addalee. It was a delicious meal, catered by NAMA {sounds great, right???}. And it wasn't even SUSHI! Bet you didn't see that one coming...
Here we are with the girl of the hour. Love her!!
She will put that thumb down for a picture... One day... Maybe... ;)

Addalee, we promise to help love you to Christ and to support your parents as they raise you as the Lord's. May God bless you, Angel girl.
