Oh, how lovely the little sister's wedding was!
She and Will pulled off a wedding in 6 weeks flat and it could not have been more beautiful.
When the day came, all the pre-wedding planning jitters were gone and we got to work doing those things we had been planning. Beth had many special people helping on the big day. They were all there just as they said they would be.
We were all ready to celebrate and love on Beth and Will.
and get them married off. :)
While Beth was having her hair done, I snuck away to take some detail pictures for you.
Her bouquet, which was completely gorgeous.
Her amazing dress that she allowed me to sneak away with.
Part of the table decorations.
Someone please tell me the name of these most beautiful flowers? They are dainty and petite - I love them! They were also tucked into her bouquet.
When I came back to the room, I found the little bride with her perfect wedding hair.
It was so pretty! She wore the same pearl hair piece that I did in my wedding.
J. Man wearing his bow tie that matched the groomsmen's ties.
You can't see it, but he was wearing new cowboy boots. He loved them! He was the ring bearer in the wedding and did a fabulous job.
Amy and Regina - the best wedding directors!
They really did an amazing job.
Cousins Abby and Anna.
Beautiful bridesmaids!!
Happy grandparents!
Mom, the most gorgeous bride ever, and me!
Beth and Will chose to get married at Windswept in Morristown, Tennessee.
It was the perfect setting for this romantic wedding.
Our new family!
Ben, Mom, Will, Beth, Dad, me, and Chris
Beth and our parents:
Siblings.
Addalee. One of the flower girls. She looked so precious!
The wedding ceremony site:
The parents and Aunt Sonya making sure everything was just the way it should be.
Hanging flowers on shepherd's hooks.
The view behind where they stood.
Cherokee lake is in the distance.
Addison (another flower girl), Beth, Mom, and Addalee.
I wish I could convey to you the feeling I felt on and off all day. You can't feel it, but I'll try to describe it.
As we did all the wedding activities, it would just hit me that this was my little sister's wedding. All the hustle and bustle of that day was for her. How all these people working were doing it to make that day so special for her and Will. All these people that we love were there and apart of it. How I felt seeing our family dressed up and excited. The way my sister looked in her wedding gown, wearing our mother's pearls and grandmother's bracelet and earrings. Mom in her pretty dress. My brother wearing his new suit. Walking to the ceremony, listening to my husband's voice over the microphone. Catching his eye as he sang. Addalee, who walked with a big smile on her face and ran right into her G-Mom's arms. Dad and his proud smile walking Beth down the aisle. Beth meeting her almost husband at the end of that aisle. Seeing Beth smile all the way down. Scott, the officiant, talking about how Beth always smiles, how Will is a man of honor, and reminding us all that God is the center of marriage. Seeing my sister tear up as Scott talked about Will. Feeling the sprinkles of light rain and praying that it stopped (it did). Watching J. peek around Will to look at Beth, catching her eye, and smiling so sweetly. Listening to the words that Chris sang during the solo - being so proud of him. Having Abby and Anna right beside me and other family right in front. Watching the first kiss of a married couple. Thanking God for them and that day.
Knowing this is what life is all about.
Happy Wedding Day, Beth and Will!
More importantly, happy life together. We love you.
