Newborn photos

I recently had the pleasure of photographing this little bundle of joy:

Mrs. Purnell recommended me to a friend of her's one day (Thank you!  Thank you!) and the next thing you know I'm in her home taking photos of her precious baby boy.  (Names to be kept anonymous...)

At three weeks old and weighing in at a whooping 5 lbs, he was a perfect little model.

Until he realized his parents (or grandparents!) weren't holding him anymore...

Do you find yourself sympathy smiling?  Me too...

We should have taken this face as a warning...  Soon after he peed on that blanket.

That's just the risk you take with a diaperless newborn!  His mother was smart though and had covered up the chair with the blanket, so we had nothing to worry about.

A new baby is like the beginning of all things, hope, a dream of possibilities.

Such a sweet family!  I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet them and take these photos.  Here's to hoping they enjoy them for years to come!
